Artistic Producer at UK Centre for Carnival Arts
Fixed term two years, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £38,110 - £41,200 (depending on experience)
The UK Centre for Carnival Arts (based at Luton, Bedfordshire) provides a pioneering space for the creative, vibrant and talented UK carnival sector to raise the status of, and access to, carnival arts.
We are seeking a highly organised, creative and well connected individual to develop and build up UKCCA annual events programme in the centre, linking these to national carnival related events, initiatives and emerging opportunities including Luton international carnival. We are seeking a candidate that has a successful track record working alongside venues, networks, event organisers and artists to deliver exciting, innovative and creative carnival arts events and street based exhibitions, showcases and perhaps competitions.
