RIP Dr Violet Cuffy

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dr Violet Cuffy.

Dr Cuffy was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, a key member of the board of Trustee for the UK Centre for Carnival Arts as well as taking a leading role in many cultural and community initiatives including, Rotary International, Toastmasters International, Dominican Creole culture; She was a true friend and champion of Carnival Arts and had so much more to give to this world. Violet is quite simply irreplaceable.

The Board, all the Staff and volunteers at UKCCA send sincere condolences to her family and close friends for this sad loss. We will all miss her valuable contributions, direction, positive energy and kindness. May Violet rest in everlasting peace.
