Wonderful Day Celebrating Luton!
At UKCCA, we're passionate about bringing people together through vibrant, welcoming events that showcase the incredible richness of Luton's community. Our heart lies in connecting with young people and adults who deserve more chances to participate and shine.
Everyone, both Lutonians and visitors to Luton, belong at our celebrations. We're committed to weaving connections across all communities and cultures, embracing every race, religion, background, age and ability that makes our town special.
The Luton International Carnival captures this spirit perfectly. It's where joyful traditions meet new friendships, where laughter echoes through the streets, and where families create memories together. Picture it as a living tapestry of celebration - where every thread of our community came together to create something beautiful and unforgettable. This included the Mayor of Luton - see picture to the left - wearing a costume in the carnival parade!
Our Carnival Champions returned!
We were so lucky local actor, Colin Salmon, and artist, Fiona Hawthorne, graced Luton International Carnival as our champions for 2026!
We are proud that Colin and Fiona’s steel band, UFO, performed, adding some lively tunes to the Luton International Carnival's Acoustic Steel Pan Zone, alongside performances by Steel Pan in Motion.
The carnival was full of music and community spirit!
Luton Council 150 Years of Borough Status Celebrations
We were also very honoured to be part of Luton Council’s 150 years of borough status celebrations. We again welcomed the Luton Council Carnival Band which included the Mayor of Luton, Luton Council Chief Executive, Councillors, Luton Council staff and some of their children in the Luton Carnival Parade!
