Hat District Lates this September celebrates Heritage Open Days and Luton's rich culture as we unwrap the history of creativity that runs through Luton. Join us for an evening of music, costume perfomance, Live steel pan, film screening and socialising!

Russell Henderson: The Pan Man (tickets required)

Winner of the Best Audience Film at Portobello Film Festival, "The Pan Man" documentary is a must see. Join us and watch Russ Henderson's journey of perseverance, spreading steel pan music in the UK, Notting Hill Carnival, from poverty to receiving an MBE before getting the opportunity to discuss the importance of the film with director Michael McKensie.

Luton Beatz Lab: September

Dust off your vinyl records and your cassette tapes with connection to Luton and bring them to the event - we will be exploring how to create vintage-sounding beats and melodies with the help of a Special Guest - Andrew Page aka raxil4. Andrew is a prolific British artist and educator whose extensive catalogue resides within the British Library Sound Archive!

The UK Centre for Carnival Arts and More Luton presents an immersive exhibition, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Windrush. Journey through the story of the Windrush generation coming to Britain and the cultural legacy they have contributed to Luton.
