Start your carnival day with Astro Aaron’s Space Blast Off Adventure at Luton Central Library with an early session designed for children with special needs, and a general session at noon.
Afterwards, join our interactive Carnival Workshop at Luton Point where families can ‘participate, not spectate’. Be sure to head to St George’s Square before 1pm to catch the exciting official parade kick-off!
1:00-5:00PM
It’s time! The 49th Luton International Carnival launches from Church street with local dignitaries including the Mayor of Luton and our beloved Carnival Champions, actor Colin Salmon and artist Fiona Hawthorne, officially kicking-off the festivities.
Get ready for a vibrant parade filled with colorful costumes and lively music. Keep an eye out for Luton Council's Chief Executive – you might even see them in costume! The parade winds its way through the streets (check out slide 6 for the route) with main performances happening in St George's Square.
5:00-6:00PM
The parade might be over, but the fun isn't! Stick around St George's Square for some awesome after-parade entertainment
