Essential Information
Parade Route
The Carnival opens at 11am in St George’s Square and in The Hat District with family entertainment. The Carnival Parade will set up and start at Flowers Way and make its way through Luton Town Centre, stopping off at the performance area at St Georges Sq, continuing down Guilford St and setting down at Silver St outside The Mall.

Head down to St. George's Square and the Hat District for some pre-parade fun! You'll catch the graduation performances of our talented Junior DJs
Looking for a story? The Carnival Storytelling Zone in the Hat Factory is kicking off with a special early session designed to be more comfortable for children with special needs
1:00-5:00PM
The main event! The parade launches on Park Street in front of the University of Bedfordshire. Local Luton dignitaries, including the Lord Lieutenant, the Chair of Luton Rising, the Mayor, the Vice Chancellor of the University, and even our Carnival Champions Fiona Hawthorne and Colin Salmon will be there to officially get things started.
Get ready for a vibrant parade filled with colorful costumes and lively music. Keep an eye out for Luton Council's Chief Executive – you might even see them in costume! The parade winds its way through the streets (check out slide 6 for the route) with main performances happening in St. George's Square.
5:00-6:00PM
The parade might be over, but the fun isn't! Stick around St. George's Square and the Hat District for some awesome after-parade entertainment
