Scandalous Mas Band

Scandalous Mas Band was formed in 2013, and was founded by Janet Skepple.  

The groups aim is to cultivate the creativity of young people, encourage them to develop artistic skills in dance, arts and crafts music. Through regular interaction we also noticed an increase confidence and over wellbeing of our young people Scandalous is made up of 30 members form aged 2 – to 80. 

We have had the privilege of travelling to different parts of the UK to take part in other carnivals such as Essex, Southend, Northampton and Luton. Each year we choose a theme, which we then use to design and create costumes. Our theme for 2021 is ‘Angels of the Lord’,
