Mas Bands
Masquerade bands or Mas Bands (as they are commonly known) are the backbone of any Carnival. There are over 200 registered bands in the UK ranging from small bands with 10 members to larger bands with over 400. There are many Caribbean style Mas bands in the UK as well those that have developed from within the UK in places like Bridgewater.
