Are you a student, a teacher or an artist who wants to work with schools?

There are many ways that the UK Centre for Carnival arts is working with schools right now and eventually we hope to work with every school in Luton in addition to providing products and services for schools nationally.

We can help whether you are looking for a one-off workshop; wanting to run a gifted and talented arts strand; want to know more about Carnival in general or would like to embed a carnival qualification within your curriculum, the only limit is our imagination.

We are currently in the process of producing Carnival packs for each key stage which will be available in mid  2009. The packs will provide materials, info sheets, DVD’s, tasks, and items that will illustrate and inspire students and teachers alike on the possibilities that carnival facilitates. We know from experience that any subject area can be brought vividly to life through carnival related activity.

Packs are also being produced that cater specifically for people with a sensory or learning disability.

All of our Carnival packs will be linked directly to different subject areas and the national curriculum.
