from 12.00 until 16.00 will be packed full of workshops, story-telling and opportunities for all Lutonions to share carnival memories. We're proud to have the support of Mayor of Luton, Cllr Don Worlding.

UKCCA is launching a new ‘Digital Carnival Arts project’ on 16th January 2012. The project offers a series of FREE

UKCCA are pleased to be supporting the Irish Arts Conference taking today at London Irish Centre, Camden Square, London.
Organised by the Federation of Irish Societies, the national representative body for Irish organisations in Britain, and supported by UKCCA, this is the first national event of its kind to focus on building and investing in artistic and cultural skills amongst Irish communities across Britain.

Showcasing communities of the East, Bound together through Carnival -
Our celebration for Festival 2012
Bringing together five communities in the East of England, Carnival Crossroads “East Bound” is UKCCA's regional carnival project, that is creating a carnival extravaganza for London 2012 Festival. The project is funded by Arts Council England and Legacy Trust UK, an independent charity set up to build a lasting cultural and sporting legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Help us preserve and share the wonderful world of carnival with the first Carnival Archive in the UK. Thanks to an award from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), the UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA), working with partners at Norwich & Norfolk Community Arts, Southend Carnival Association, Northamptonshire Black History Association and Northampton Carnival Arts Consortium, is launching a major regional Carnival Archive project.
