UKCCA's Bursary Scheme

Details of the next round of the bursary scheme will be posted here soon.

This scheme provides bursaries for people who would like to develop their skills, knowledge, creativity and careers in carnival arts. The scheme runs throughout the year with the selection panel meeting quarterly.

What can a bursary be used for?

The bursary can be used towards participating in Masterclasses, conferences and events provided by UKCCA, access to the carnival centre workshop and facilities, and support for independently devised professional development programes.

Who is eligible?

Anyone over 18 years old, who resides in England and who is passionate about developing knowledge and skills in carnival can apply for a bursary. No formal qualifications are required. Applications can be made by individuals and in some cases groups.

How to apply?

Application is simple. Use the application form to tell us why you would like to apply for a bursary and how you think this will benefit you. Your application will need to be supported by an endorsement from a senior professional in your sector.
