Norwich Carnival Archive Collecting Roadshow

Activities:
Come and share your memories of carnival and street processions and hear more about the Carnival Archive Project, at our exciting Collecting Roadshow on Saturday 11 February from 10AM to 4PM.
- Share your favourite carnival moments on our Carnival of Memories.
- Bring along your carnival images and memorabilia for inclusion in the UK's first online Carnival Archive.
- Visit our Reminiscence Cafe to share your memories of carnivals and street processions with us over a cuppa and a biscuit.
- Find out more about the Carnival Archive Project and how you can get involved.
- Meet our friendly team of volunteers, who can share their experiences of being involved with the project.

Luton Launch

We're pleased to be welcoming the Mayor of Luton and Maggie Appleton from Heritage Lottery Fund. We welcome you to join us.
Activities:
Join us in celebrating the launch of our exciting new projects with an afternoon of Carnival Arts and Heritage. There will be FREE CULTURE ACTIVITIES FOR ALL THE FAMILY
The afternoon will be packed full of things to do, whether a young person, parent or grandparent, come along for workshops and activities by joining the Digital Carnival Arts Project. The event will also launch Luton's Carnival Archive Project; and we will be joined by Luton's Association of Mas for the launch for the Mas Camp 2012.
Activities include:
- Arts workshop,
- Samba workshop,
- Dance Workshop,
- Archive material collecting session,
- Oral history session,
- Food from different cultures - will be served from 13.30.
The Southend Launch
UKCCA and Southend Carnival Association presents on Monday 20th February 2012
The Launch is at:

Time: Either 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM or 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

The event will be a blend of oral history and collecting.
Northampton Launch
